I would have no hesitation in recommending Amit

We would like to thank Amit and our driver Sudarshan for their help on our recent trip to Rajasthan. Prior to arriving in India, Amit was extremely helpful and responded to every email very promptly. He very kindly organised all of our hotel rooms, which we were very pleased with. He also assisted me with trying to organise my train trip from Mumbai to Jodhpur which unfortunately I was unable to do. Sudarshan was our driver and we always felt very safe and secure with his driving. We had Sudarshan for around 8 days and he was always on time and we honestly felt very well looked after. He was always prepared to give us advice and his care and attention to our needs was very reassuring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Amit and his company if you are thinking about travelling around Rajasthan. Thank you for a great trip!

We intend to use your services again

I would like to congratulate you on your mobile land arrangements during my family’s two visits to India in November 2012 & October 2013. During both visits the standard of vehicle and driver were exceptional. Both Avtar and Pawan were safe drivers who took no risks. Both driver’s standard of English were good and they always understood our conversations and requests. They were attentive and knowledgeable and always very pleasant. None of our requests were too much trouble for them and in fact they often made suggestions to enhance our trip. We felt that the tariff was reasonable and they provided every facet of service as per our agreement. During the extensive road travel the vehicles were always kept clean neither did we experience any mechanical problems.

We intend to visit India again in 2014 and will again use your transportation services. I highly recommend your company to international tourists. Travel in India, whilst so very interesting and inspiring, can be daunting at times and in both cases the drivers have been a comfort to us. We felt safe at all times.

A highly recommended travel agent: Amit Singh

We spent a week (in September of 2013) with Amit in a tour of Northern India, visiting New Delhi, Pushkar, Jaipur, Agra and Varanasi. He finally dropped us in the Nepal border to continue our trip there. The communication with Amit before the trip was efficient because of his almost immediate email responses. Once there, I must say Amit is the best driver in the world; very skillful and safe, and his car was very clean and confortable (very nice seats!). Amit is very polite and correct, and his English is perfect; he speaks slowly and easy to understand for people whose level of English is not so good (like Spanish…). During the trip Amit always provided us good information and prices in hotels and restaurants. He held a professional distance during our activities, leaving us to enjoy the sightseeing at our own. He always took care of our security and gave us good advices when visiting tourist places. He also had contacts in Agra and Varanasi to be our guides there. They were also very professional and polite, mainly the guide in Taj Mahal. We would definitely recommend Amit for a drive tour in India, and we must say that the music he had in the car was so nice!!!!

My thanks to Amit and Anil – the tour was outstanding

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Amit and his driver Mr Anil for my outstanding tour of Rajasthan in April 2013. To give me more time I expanded the 15 day tour to 23 days, then Varanasi and Khuraho solo for 5 days. The tour was outstanding, we travelled early to miss rowdy religious festivals, advised of scams etc., when to hire a guide and when to use audio guides. India was incredible as was the drive India experience, the more than 12,000 images amazes my family and friends who are armchair adventure travellers. Looking forward to northern India with Amit.

I would certainly use Amit again

We have recently come back from a trip to India combining business and a few days sightseeing at the end, visiting Agra and the Taj Mahal and then on to Jaipur. We hired Amit who owns India Driver Tours and couldn’t speak more highly of him. Amit was able to inform of us various Indian customs and was an excellent source of information. He was an excellent driver and gave us much confidence in the mayhem that the Indian roads hold. He organised an excellent guide for us at the Taj Mahal and suggested various places to visit in Jaipur alongside the Amber Fort. He was always on time and ready and waiting for us in the mornings in his driver’s uniform, very polite and professional. I would certainly use Amit if I visit India again.

We (a party of 4) spent a week on a tour in North India. We hired Amit (and his car) for this period. The communication in advance was very easy because of his prompt email response (he also made a train reservation for us, which is a difficult thing to accomplish for foreigners). During the trip Amit always provide us with information and prices. He held a professional distance during our family activities. We would definitely recommend them for a relaxt tour in hectic India.

We couldn’t have wished for a better driver

Amit was our driver for a 2 week trip around Northern India back in August 2013 and we could not have wished for a better man to guide us. His English is impeccable and he also has a wonderful sense of humour which made our trip all the better. Driving through India is not for the faint hearted, but Amit always had our safety and comfort in mind. He became a good friend throughout the trip, sharing stories of our lives and he soon got a handle on our specific interests making excellent suggestions for places to visit, things to see etc. Our experience of India was all the better for meeting him and we are all truly grateful for his careful management of our trip…we couldn’t have wished for a better driver.

We were glad having chosen Amit

We hired Amit as a driver for our individually organized 3 days-trip from Delhi to Agra and Jaipur and back to Delhi in June 2013. The planning procedure was easy because he is promptly available by email. Since he quoted a reasonable fee including his service as a driver, costs of the vehicle, parking, state and toll taxes, we agreed. After arrival in Delhi we met Amit on schedule just as he was always on time during our journey. He is a very friendly man, cultivated and fitted with the necessary calmness for this area. Moreover he provided important information and tips about contacts with the Indian people. Amit arranged a guide in Agra which led through the beautiful Taj Mahal. The weather was hot and sunny, the view excellent. Our guide knew a lot about the history and he showed the best positions to take pictures. Our visit of Taj Mahal is unforgettable, thanks to Amit and your guide Rajesh. Besides, Amit’s Toyota Innova is very clean and convenient for laid-back travelling. Sometimes the traffic was quite hectic, but Amit always kept calm and piloted his car safely trough the traffic. We always were in a good atmosphere and glad having chosen Amit as companion for your trip. We would like to recommend him for journeys to the Taj Mahal, across Rajasthan and Northern India.

The company supplied everything it promised and was very trustworthy

We (my husband and I) spent a number of weeks on a tour in India in May organized for us by Amit. The tour was excellent. The response to my emails always prompt. Amit was always ready to assist me plan our trip and provide information and prices to help me choose. Our driver Neeraj (Bobby) was a lovely man; always ready to assist us and ensure we had a great trip. We travelled for 9 days with our car and driver visiting all the places I had organized over the Internet. We also chose the options of hotels suggested by the company and included in the price. Every hotel was very good; Umaid Mahal in Jaipur and the Regency at Ranthambhore terrific. We saw so many wonderful sights and Bobby ensured we saw both tourist sites and other less known sites. The company supplied everything it promised and was very trustworthy. We would definitely recommend them for a wonderful stress-free tour. We chose to visit Delhi (not our favorite), Agra to see the fort and Taj Mahal, Ranthambhore for 2 tiger safaris (the company also organized these which we loved) and Jaipur. Thank you for making all the arrangements for such a successful holiday and a special thank you to Minto, our driver, for his willingness to chat about many different aspects of Indian life and culture, for his extensive knowledge of the area we toured and for looking after us in general. Flexibility and quick responses to our requests

We have been truly satisfied and happy with the tour proposed. I particularly appreciated the flexibility offered which made it possible to make a tour according to our wishes, taking into account the time available and our flight schedules.

Our driver Deepak was a very kind, pleasant, and most important of all, a safe driver, always good-tempered and smiling, this made our holiday very pleasant. We could make proposals for visits and driving us there was never a problem. We also liked Deepak’s favourite expression “time is enough”, which made us feel very relaxed and free to enjoy sightseeing as we wished. Thanks for all this, also for most of the hotels proposed, not the usual typical group accommodation, but truly beautiful and particular places to stay and enjoy. The cost was surely good value for money. We had a great time in India and will surely recommend your services.

Thank you for making our holiday so special

I am writing to tell you how fantastic the service was that we received from you and our driver Jagdish (Mintu). From the moment we arrived at the airport in Delhi to the moment we departed in Udaipur, we were given a truly excellent level of service. Mintu was a very skilled driver, making us feel totally safe at all times. He was very polite, spoke good English, was always on time when we arranged to meet and was very knowledgeable. He even took us to a few wonderful sites that were not on our original agenda, that we really enjoyed. Also the quality of the car exceeded our expectations, beautifully clean and modern, perfect for the long journeys we took across India during the busy Diwali holiday period. A wonderful journey which has been made most enjoyable by having Pawan as our driver

Thank you so much for the time and effort you had spent in helping us put together our travel itinerary of Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan. As you came highly recommended to us by another Trip Advisor member, we felt confident in our choice and never for a moment during our trip did we experience any regrets of our choice.

Our sound choice was plain when further along the trip, we ran into other travellers who were not quite happy with their driver. In fact, there was a family from New Zealand who went so far as to sack their driver and insisted that the travel agency send them another driver. From this couple, we also found out that your quote is more competitive then theirs. There have been more then a few times, when I found myself wishing I have your business cards ready to pass on to these travellers who were displeased with their drivers.

As for Pawan, what can I say except that Pawan made our journey more interesting by his careful driving, his jokes and the way he look out for us by gently reminding us what to do and what to look out for in terms of dress codes when visiting temples. He also help to prevent touts and auto rickshaw drivers from hassling us. His driving skill is such that we felt safe in ‘tight’ situations such as maneuvering around tight spots in the congested roads of Indian cities.

Indeed you have been really wonderful, providing us with excellent advice and lots of information on the sites and ways of India, as well as through your restaurant recommendation. I especially enjoyed the Peacock rooftop restaurant in Jaipur and our last dinner at Veda in Delhi.

I hope the move to your new home went well and you are enjoying the new flat with your wife and your lovely daughter.

To any prospective customer, I would highly recommend Amit and his firm. He is a truly lovely, gentle, and very experienced driver. I remember vividly our little scare when an Antelope crossed the motorway and you avoided it very well as well as your amazing drive through the crowed streets of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. You made us feel very safe and I really appreciated you taking us back from restaurants late or took me shopping.

What are you waiting for?

Myself and my girlfriend, Lyn (or as Amit preferred to call her, Lynjee) used India Driver Tours for three weeks to cover the majority of Rajasthan as well as Agra and Delhi. Amit, from the very start went beyond the call of duty as a private driver. From setting us up with an indian SIM card to helping me get to hospital in the middle of the night to get an embarrassing ailment seen to, he tended to our every need. As a driver Amit was extremely safe and professional. He had a thorough understanding of Rajasthan’s road network and if there was anything he wasn’t sure of he’d be very quick to ask a local person to find out. Beyond his driving abilities however he is a thoroughly nice man and it was a pleasure to spend three weeks in his company. If travellers/couples are hesitant to drive about with a third person on your trip, don’t be, travelling with Amit will only add to your experience, he’s great, easy-going company, good sense of humour, very considerate and really cares about his customers. So what are you waiting for!?!

Memories to last a lifetime

I can’t praise Amit enough for organising the wonderful Golden Triangle tour that my friend and I went on in October 2012. Amit was originally recommended to me by a friend at the start of the year and has been exceptionally patient with my endless emails of questions both before the tour was booked, and right up to my departure from the UK. He always replied punctually with the necessary answers.

Throughout our tour, Amit was always on time to pick us up and was extremely knowledgeable about all of the sites that we visited, giving us advice about whether or not it would be necessary to hire a guide, and even arranging one for us in advance at the Taj Mahal. He also organised a rickshaw ride for us in Delhi.

The mid-range hotels that he suggested for us were all of a high quality and exceptionally clean. He also went out of his way to assist us by driving us outside Delhi one evening when we were invited to dinner at friend’s house. Definitely not something that I anticipated being included as a part of our tour. Thank you again Amit for making our first visit to Northern India so special, the memories will last a lifetime.
